i really bake bread last nite..

and i decided to made some minced beef filling for azilah..
this morning.. made breakfast - MY BREAD with tuna and minced beef fillings....

Allahumma infa’nii bimaa ‘allamtanii wa’allimnii maa yanfa’ unii.
Allahumma inii as’aluka fahmal-nabiyyen wa hifthal mursaleen al-muqarrabeen.
Allahumma ijal leesanee ‘amiran bi thikrika wa qalbi bi khashyatika.
Innaka ‘ala ma-tasha’-u qadeer wa anta hasbun-allahu wa na’mal wakeel.

Oh Allah! Make useful for me what You taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me. Oh Allah! I ask You for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to You. Oh Allah! Make my tongue full of Your remembrance, and my heart with consciousness of You. (Oh Allah!) You do whatever You wish, and You are my Availer and Protector and the best of aid.

Allahumma rahmataka arjoo falaa takilnee ilaa nafsee tarfata ‘aynin wa aslih-lee sha’nee kullahu, laa ilaha illa anta

O Allah! It is Your mercy that I hope for so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You .

check up

Went for my pregnancy check up yesterday at the GP.
I am still not over the fact that my gynae- Dr Ratna Mitra- is away in UK till March 07!
Really hope that she’ll come back soon cos I prefer her to attend and deliver my baby.
Just like she deliver both Qai and Qas….
But I really have to see A GYNAE for my monthly check ups , in which I need to find time for it..
Don’t worry baby… no matter how busy ibu is….. ibu PROMISE to find a time to “see” you via the ultrasound ok…. And of course I’ll have your “picture” printed out during each visit for keepsake….. J Just like your both of your sisters..
Meanwhile …. I can see that u are comfortable in my tummy during yesterday’s visit…
Ayah should see how u wave at me and the doctor… that the doctor got so excited that he said..”mummy…. look….look…. baby’s waving at us…”
Hahaha…. So beautiful….. and when u were scanned.. your were kicking your hands and legs all over you..
Ayah won’t miss it next time, ok…. I PROMISE!

"National Service"

Met my boss this am. I told her that I am pregnant and that my expected due date will be on 13th july 07.
Hmppphh it’s a relief, really, considering the fact that I just came back from my maternity leave in early November!
Glad that she’s ok with it.. (hello she HAS to be ok!!...hahaha)
She congratulates me and was laughing away… ;() – thanks Miss Teo.
Told her my concerns – our workload when I’m away for maternity leave. She acknowledged and share my concerns.
Currently, my team consist of 5 of us handling the payroll of 2000++ staffs.
Come June 07, Serene will be going back to NEA as she is on secondment.
That will leave 4 of us.
Grace will be taking 1 month’s leave to visit her daughter at San Francisco sometime in August/September and Veni is currently requesting for “lighter” work… *sighhh*
That will leave me and Miss Lim…….. and me, being overly concerned over the declining of birthrate in Singapore, will be doing my “national service” of delivering a baby in late June or till mid July….. (hehehhe) ..InsyaAllah.. ; ()
Its down to Miss Lim… : (
Worse, the PHASE II of job, is coming in..
This time round, only the work load is coming in, and no manpower…
*wah lau!!*
We’ll be handling a more complex payroll which consist personnel from
THE PARLIAMENT, MINISTERS, COURTS……..*hmmmpp*
She assured me that she’ll think of something and told me not to worry.
At most, they’ll just need to employ Temp Staff to assist the current officers for data entry.
Hopefully they’ll get one or two before any of us go “missing in action”.
Payroll processing is no joke ley.. Lots of implication…. *haiiiizzz*
But its our work…… We’ll survive… By God’s Grace, we will… Amin…
